Come Hear Luis Palau and Dr. David Jeremiah

HSLDA President Mike Smith has been an advocate for homeschooling for more than 30 years.

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:

You’re invited to attend two powerful days of spiritual conversation, prayer, and probing interviews, as international pastors, evangelists, and authors Luis Palau and Dr. David Jeremiah come to the Patrick Henry College campus (Tues.-Wed.) Feb. 25-26. They’ll be here as participants in the College’s Newsmakers Interview Series with Marvin Olasky, and we’re honored to welcome these godly men and internationally renowned evangelists who have helped disciple and lead multitudes to Christ. Please join us to hear their unique spiritual testimonies, listen as they share about the state of the Church, global Christianity and the future of international evangelism, and then interact with them personally in a lengthy Q&A session.

If you would like to attend or bring a group, please RSVP to this email address OfficeOfCommunications@phc.edu so we have an idea of numbers and can properly prepare. Also, for those pastors who are interested, there is the possibility of a private luncheon with Pastor Palau on Tuesday after his interview. If this interests you, please RSVP to this email address OfficeOfCommunications@phc.edu and mention the luncheon. We’ll gauge interest and be back in touch.

International evangelist Luis Palau, and his sons Kevin and Andrew, will speak with Mr. Olasky on February 25 at 12:20 on the future of international evangelism. Palau and his ministry have shared the Gospel with more than 1 billion people through evangelistic events and media. He has spoken in person to 30 million people in 75 countries with more than 1 million registered decisions for Jesus Christ. He has authored close to 50 books, contributed articles on issues of faith to countless publications, and counseled business leaders, political leaders, and heads of state around the world.

Author, radio broadcaster, and mega-church pastor David Jeremiah arrives on campus February 26 at 12:40 to discuss the future of international evangelism. The founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries, Jeremiah is senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego. He is a sought-after conference speaker for organizations around the country. Turning Point’s 30-minute radio program is heard on more than 2,500 stations world-wide. Dr. Jeremiah frequently speaks at Dallas Theological Seminary, Moody Bible Institute, Billy Graham Training Center, Phil Waldrep’s Senior Adult Celebrations and numerous NFL, NBA and baseball chapels.

We’d love to welcome you to Patrick Henry College to hear from and interact with these two remarkable servants of God.
