House Bill 1053: Creating a Task Force to Study All State Education Law

Summary:

This bill would create a task force to study all education laws in the state. It states, in part, "It is the intent of the Legislature and the expectation of each community in the state that all children receive a quality public education and attend a school that provides for this opportunity." This effort to eliminate nonpublic education, including homeschools, is unconstitutional.
