Senate Bill 2947: Creates Tax Credit for Educational Expenses

Summary:

This bill would provide a tax credit for unreimbursed educational expenses, including "tuition, fees, computer software, textbooks, workbooks, curricula, school supplies (other than personal computers), and other written materials used primarily for academic instruction or for academic tutoring, or both." Homeschooling parents would be able to utilize the credit.
