Proposed Changes to Alaska Police Officer Standards

Summary:

Among other things, this proposal would require Alaska police officers to have a state recognized high school diploma or one certified by a state or local school as having met state graduation requirements. As a result, many homeschool graduates would be forced to obtain a GED in order to serve as a police officer.
