MO HB 189 Creates An Educational Savings Program and Includes Homeschool Curriculum As An Eligible Expense
Sponsors:
Rep. Kathryn Swan
Summary:

This bill would create an educational savings program and would include homeschool curriculum as an eligible expense. Families would deposit their own money in a state-supervised account. The money would then be exempt from taxation by the State of Missouri, assuming the parents spend the money on eligible expenses. This is basically a tax deduction plan as no money from the government can be put in the account.
