House Bill 767: Mandatory Kindergarten

Summary:

This bill would lower the age of mandatory school attendance from 6 to 5 and require full-day public school kindergarten. Parents who wish to homeschool their children would be required to comply with legal requirements for homeschooling a year earlier.
