Summary:

This bill would require all students (including homeschool students) to be tested "as the Secretary of Health may direct," for diabetes prior to beginning school.

HSLDA's Position:

Oppose. While well-intentioned, this adds a one-size-fits-all restriction on homeschooling that does not properly account for the individuality of doctor-patient medical decisions.
