HF 368: Eliminates Independent Private Instruction and Requires Parents to Submit a Form and Annual Evaluations for Competent Private Instruction
Sponsors:
Rep. Mascher
Summary:

This bill would completely eliminate Independent Private Instruction, referred to as Option 1 in HSLDA's Legal Analysis.  The bill would also require all parents using Competent Private Instruction to file a form with the school district annually, which would likely be Form A.  This eliminates Private Instruction, or Option 2.  Furthermore, parents would be required to evaluate each student annually, generally with a standardized test, and submit evaluation results to the school district.
