Good News in Wyoming!

Wyoming homeschoolers have been hard at work, and they are reaping the benefits of their labor. In spite of the threats of anti-homeschooling legislators, the latest news from the Wyoming legislature is very encouraging.

The Young Patriots, a newly formed homeschool political action committee, endorsed Kit Jennings for the Wyoming State Senate. Beyond just endorsing, though, the Young Patriots traveled to Casper to work on his campaign. The result of their hard work and dedication is that Wyoming homeschoolers now have another vocal advocate in the Senate. For more information on the Young Patriots, contact Thea Adamo at (307) 322-5412 or cadamo@wyoming.com.

In addition, Senator Jennings has been appointed to the Senate Education Committee, where his vote will have an added clout on issues affecting homeschoolers. He will certainly be a key ally of homeschooling in the important upcoming legislative session. Rumors are already stirring about bills that will affect your freedoms, so please be ready to take action to help legislators like Senator Jennings fight for freedom.

HSLDA would like to thank all of the homeschoolers that gave their time and energy in the past election cycle to stand for candidates that support our freedoms. We will continue to keep you updated on legislative issues that you can take action on. Please be in prayer for this upcoming legislative season!
