Wisconsin Social Worker Closes Investigation

The Stevens family (name changed) of Barbou, Wisconsin, was contacted by the Sauk County Department of Human Services based on an anonymous tip. Apparently, one of the children's grandmothers had been harassing the family and reported to the social worker that the children were having "trouble with their mom." The children were all homeschooled and the relative was not pleased.

HSLDA intervened and was able to convince the social worker to close the case after one conversation with the mother. The children were never interviewed.
