Department of Education Agrees to Change Form

The Maine Department of Education has now fixed its “subsequent year letter” form that it provides online. It is now fully consistent with state law. Officials agreed to make the changes in response to the problems we pointed out in our article dated August 12, 2008, “State Makes Demand for Unauthorized Information.” We appreciate the department’s willingness to take care of this.
