Another step in the right direction

Back in January, HSLDA reported that the Winchester School District had led the way in simplifying its homeschool forms to ask for only what the law allows. We have now received word that another school district, Narragansett Regional School District, has taken the same step to help homeschoolers and simplify their own paperwork. Narragansett has now adopted the Winchester form for use in its district.

Though Massachusetts has one of the worst homeschool laws in the nation, individual school districts are beginning to recognize the rights of homeschoolers in more and more ways. Though a small step, Narragansett Regional School District's change is a definite move in the right direction.
