Homeschoolers Included In Student Honors Program
By virtue of the enactment of Senate Bill 210 on April 21, 2009, students enrolled in home study programs in Georgia are now eligible to participate in the student honors program. This program is conducted during summer months at institutions of high learning for the purpose of providing challenging opportunities for advanced study and accomplishments by participating students. Prior to the recent change in the law, only public and private high school students were eligible for participation in the honors program.
