South Korea: Homeschooling Prospers by Families Helping Families Mission Boosts Homeschooling The Ultimate Homeschool Adventure Homeschooling is Growing in South Korea Compulsory Education Ages: Legal Status: Number of Homeschoolers: Homeschool Information KHomeschool Needs: KHomeschool needs help from U.S. homeschool families in training Korean families how to homeschool. Korea is the second largest missionary-sending country in the world, but the No. 1 problem for missionaries is their children’s education. The Korean homeschool movement has the financial resources and zeal to teach Christian values to their children, but they do not have any experienced homeschoolers to help them get started. KHomeschool is looking for homeschool families or graduates willing to come help Korean families learn how to homeschool. KHomeschool would provide training and resources for these graduates. Family Mission International (FMI) is actively serving homeschoolers in South Korea by connecting North American homeschool families with KHomeschool families and leaders.
