South Korea: Homeschooling Prospers by Families Helping Families
Inspired by their American mentors, South Koreans are expanding homeschooling in their country.

Mission Boosts Homeschooling
Homeschooling in South Korea is growing by leaps and bounds! Thank all those who are praying and supporting the Family Mission International.

The Ultimate Homeschool Adventure
As homeschooling continues to grow around the world, creative opportunities to encourage homeschool families worldwide are also growing. South Korea is a wonderful example.

Homeschooling is Growing in South Korea
Korea has experienced a steady growth in homeschooling in recent years, fueled in part by the leniency of the country's education laws, and via the support of the business community.

 Country Information

Children ages 7 to 15 are subject to the federal compulsory attendance law. High school is not mandated.

KHomeschool Needs:

KHomeschool needs help from U.S. homeschool families in training Korean families how to homeschool.

Korea is the second largest missionary-sending country in the world, but the No. 1 problem for missionaries is their children’s education.

The Korean homeschool movement has the financial resources and zeal to teach Christian values to their children, but they do not have any experienced homeschoolers to help them get started.

KHomeschool is looking for homeschool families or graduates willing to come help Korean families learn how to homeschool. KHomeschool would provide training and resources for these graduates.

Family Mission International (FMI) is actively serving homeschoolers in South Korea by connecting North American homeschool families with KHomeschool families and leaders. For more information, please contact:
