Common Core Legislation


H 2034, which passed the Washington House of Representatives in June 2013, would appropriate $2.5 million for the further implementation of the Common Core. In regard to legislation opposing the Common Core, HB 2783 proposes to withdraw Washington State from SBAC if a legislative audit discovers that student data is being compromised through the consortium’s data collection requirements.
