Common Core Legislation


SB 237 seeks to prevent the Ohio State Board of Education from further implementing the Common Core and from using PARCC or SBAC assessments. HB 181 would prohibit the submission of personal student data to the federal government or to multistate consortia without direct permission given by the school board. HB 193 would deter implementation until further study of PARCC could be done by the Ohio Department of Education. HB 413 would stop the administration of PARCC assessment tests.
