Constitution Day

Constitution Day  (September 18, 2006 at Patrick Henry College) sponsored by Generation Joshua is a wonderful opportunity for your high schooler to experience first hand a reenactment of the convention debates, and to supplement your high school Civics/Government course!  Lectures offered by Ned Ryan, director of Generation Joshua, as well as a simulation of the Constitutional Convention will keep students engaged as they learn about the Virginia Plan, the New Jersey Plan, the Great Compromise, the slavery debates and the signing of the Constitution ending with a round table discussion of The Constitution Today.  Students ages 11- 19 may register for $15 which includes lunch and all materials.  If you are unable to attend the session at Patrick Henry College you may request materials be sent to you.  Details on Constitution Day also include activity ideas for younger students.
