Finding Ways to be Frugal

 

Being a good steward of our resources is important no matter in what season of life we find ourselves.  But during the teen years, it seems that there are many demands vying for limited resources!  Check out some of these books/websites for ways you can pinch dollars (inflation has caused “pinching pennies” to be a thing of the past!).  Homeschooling on a Shoestring:  A Jam-Packed Guide by Melissa Morgan and Judith Waite Allee, The Complete Tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn (an oldie but goodie resource that is still useful!)  by Amy Dacyczyn (an oldie but goodie resource that is still useful!) , and  Miserly Moms: Living on One Income in a Two Income Economy by Jonni McCoy.   Also, the Miserly Moms website provides tips, recipes, articles, and even budget tools and calculator links.
