Invitation to Attend Speech

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

On Wednesday, July 23, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (FL) and a group of panelists will be at Catholic University to discuss one of the biggest issues facing America today: the erosion of family values. This event will be take place at 12:30 p.m. in Great Room A, Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center, The Catholic University of America, 620 Michigan Ave., N.E., Washington, D.C.

Senator Rubio’s keynote address will focus on why values matter to our country, why they have been eroded, and strategies for how to help children in broken families get past the challenges they face. There will be a panel discussion following the keynote address by Senator Rubio. The panelists include:

Russell Moore, President, Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission

Penny Nance, President and CEO, Concerned Women for America

Brad Wilcox, Director of the National Marriage Project and Associate Professor of Sociology, University of Virginia

Sister Ann Patrick Conrad, Associate Professor of Social Work, The Catholic University of America

If you and your family are interested in attending this event, you must RSVP.

Sincerely yours,

Mike Smith
