Summary of Concern

AB 1444 would make kindergarten mandatory before taking the 1st grade, forcing one more year to a child’s education.

There are serious problems with this new proposed legislation that are outlined in our previous AB 1444 action e-lert, which you can read on our website.

A big thanks to those who contacted the Assembly expressing your opposition to the bill. Please be ready for another action e-lert on AB 1444 early next week.
