Dear Kansas HSLDA members and friends,

Please keep calling to support tax relief for families who are educating their children at their own expense! The vote on the senate floor will take place this evening sometime after 5PM.

The full text of the tax relief bill (Sen. Substitute New Sec. 34-41) can be read here.

ACTION REQUESTED:

Please immediately call your Kansas State Senator. Use this link to find out who your senator is.

Your message can be as simple as: “Please vote YES on the Senate Substitute for HB 2506 and retain Senator Pyle’s property tax relief. It brings basic fairness back to the property tax system for families who don’t wish to place their children in public schools.”

Also please call Senator Susan Wagle, the Senate President, with the same message. Call her at 785-296-2419 or email her at Susan.Wagle@senate.ks.gov.

Since time is very short, please send this message to others!

BACKGROUND

A number of senators are sitting on the fence for this issue. Your phone call is very important. Thank you for standing with us for freedom and fairness!

Sincerely yours,

Scott Woodruff
HSLDA Senior Counsel
