Dear Maine HSLDA Members and Friends,
The legislative committee work session on LD 1530, the bill that would make Maine 5- and 6-year-olds subject to the compulsory school attendance laws, has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 23 at 1:00 p.m.
Please plan to attend the work session as newly scheduled to show your opposition to this effort to marginalize your parental freedom. And please send emails as we encouraged you in our last e-lert!
