Joint Newsflash—December 12, 2013

From: Mike Smith, HSLDA and Roy Hanson, Family Protection Ministries

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:

Important: Window of Opportunity Rapidly Closing

There are three groups of homeschooling parents who desire for their children to be exempted from any or all mandated vaccines who will not be required to file the burdensome new form CDPH 8262 if they immediately take the action steps detailed in our article before this January 1, 2014.

For many of you, there are steps you need to take this month (December 2013) to meet the requirements for the new vaccine exemption law.

We at HSLDA and Family Protection Ministries have researched the laws on school vaccine exemptions and reviewed the new form created for the implementation of AB 2109. We have published an article available online that will guide you through what you need to do to properly exempt your children from any or all of the required school vaccinations.

Topics covered in this article include background of the new law, which forms to file and when and how to file them, as well as a Q&A section addressing a variety of issues that will hopefully address your situation.

Please carefully read the article and pass this email on to your homeschooling friends.

Sincerely,

Mike Smith
HSLDA President
