Dear Michigan Members and Friends,
We have information that two representatives are open to reconsidering their support for HCR 11 and HR 226. They need to hear from you. If they change their votes we can stop these resolutions and prevent the state Department of Education from spending money on Common Core implementation. Please call them this morning and ask them to vote no on HCR 11 and HCR 226
Please contact the two members of the House Education Committee listed below this morning and give them the following message in your own words:
“Please vote against Both HCR 11 and House Resolution 226. This resolution will allow the state Department of Education to continue implementing Common Core, which will facilitate the increasing federalization of education with the potential to infringe upon the liberty of all parents to direct the education of their children.”
