Learn about Common Core Standards at Community Meeting
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,
If you are concerned about how the Common Core State Standards will impact your ability to teach your children at home, you may want to attend a presentation on the Common Core on Monday, June 24 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Joy Community Church, 5000 North Bend Road, Cincinnati.
The meeting is hosted by Americans for Prosperity and the Northwest Hamilton County Tea Party and will include presentations by both sides of the Common Core debate, with the goal of providing you with the facts with which to draw your own conclusions. Presenters include Debe Terhar, the president of the Ohio State Board of Education, and Adriana Inman, board member of Our Turning Point.
Come to the meeting to learn more about Common Core State Standards and how they affect you and your children.
Very truly yours,
Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
