====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA: Make Graduation a Special Moment Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, Do you have a senior you graduating this year? If so, I would like to offer you (and your graduate) congratulations--that is quite the accomplishment! If you are interested in participating in a formal graduation ceremony, I want to make you aware of an opportunity provided by the Indiana Foundation for Home Schooling. I am blessed to be giving the commencement address this year, and I pray my message will inspire your graduate and send them out to the next phase of their life with renewed vigor and hope for their future. This year's graduation details: Date: Saturday, May 18, 2013 Location: E. 91st St. Christian Church, Indianapolis, IN Time: 2:00 p.m. (ceremony), graduates and families arrive at 9 a.m. for a full day of rehearsal, awards, lunch, pictures, excitement. Cost: $150 (if you sign up and pay by March 1, 2013) Save money and sign up early! SPECIAL: Those seniors who sign up and pay by March 1 are eligible to compete in the Speech Contest. First and second place winners give their speeches at graduation. Your Graduation Fee Includes: > Free professionally made DVD of the graduation ceremony. > Free graduation lunch for the graduates; family members can participate for a nominal cost. > Photographs--graduates receive professional images that can be downloaded at no charge and reproduced as you wish. No photos to purchase; these images are part of your graduation fee. > Professional ceremony--walk down the aisle to "Pomp and Circumstance." > No limit on the number of the guests you can invite. We have room for more than 2,300. > Personal graduation moment--your PowerPoint displayed on three large screens in the auditorium, let your guests, family, and others know your special interests, and your next steps. > NHS cords for those who qualified and are members of the Home School National Honor Society chapter. Participants in this graduation ceremony, who sign up and pay by April 1, are eligible to apply for scholarships given by IFHS every year.
