HSLDA appreciates your membership support very much because it allows us to defend you, your family and our movement from unreasonable interference from the government. If you know a homeschooling family who is not a member of HSLDA, will you encourage them to join with us to defend our important freedoms? I also wanted to take a moment to remind you that the District of Columbia's homeschool notification deadline is August 15. DC municipal regulations require parents providing home education to submit the Home School Notification Form to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). You can download the form on the OSSE website here: http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=15387 You can mail the form to the following address: Office of the State Superintendent of Education, Home School Office 810 First Street, NE - 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002 Attention: Stephanie Thomas, Home School Coordinator If you have not already done so, we encourage you to submit your evaluation by the deadline.
