A proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would preserve the
longstanding traditional right of parents to direct the upbringing and
education of their children was introduced today in the U.S. Congress.

2. Minnesota Officer to Mom: "I'm Taking Your Children into Custody
Now"

When a police officer found homeschooled children playing outside, he
assumed they were unsupervised and threatened to take them into
custody. Home School Legal Defense Association helped resolve the
case.

3. Bulgaria: Pastor Charged with Criminal Child Abuse Over Home
Education

HSLDA encourages members and friends to contact Bulgarian officials on
behalf of a pastor who is being persecuted for homeschooling.

Communicator Debate series that provides over $30,000 in scholarships.
