Dear Generation Joshua Members and Friends, As you know, iGovern East Summer Leadership Camp starts next week in northern Virginia, as 140 young people spend an exciting week learning how to be the godly servant leaders that our nation so desperately needs. But whether or not you're attending iGovern East, here's an opportunity to stand up for unborn babies and be a leader right now! The U.S. House of Representatives will vote later this week to make sex-selection abortions illegal in our nation. Currently, only four states ban this tragic practice which results in mainly unborn baby girls being aborted. I urge you to stand up for these unborn baby girls, call your U.S representative, and urge him or her to support H.R. 3541, the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA), that has been introduced by Congressman Trent Franks from Arizona. You can call your representative at the Capitol Switchboard, 202-224-3121, or use HSLDA's Legislative Toolbox to enter your ZIP code and find your U.S. representative: http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=14847 You message can be as simple as: "Hi, my name is _____ and I want to urge my representative to vote in favor of H.R. 3541, the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA). This bill will protect unborn baby girls from being aborted just because they're girls. Thank you very much." Thank you for standing up for the unborn.
