Home School Legal Defense Association showed that a homeschooling mom
had complied with district law and should not be listed on a registry
for child neglect.

2. Tennessee: Hamblen County Misapplies Testing Requirement

HSLDA intervened on behalf of a member family after they received a
letter from a local public school official advising them that it was
necessary for their 7th-grade daughter to participate in state testing
as a homeschool student.

The Idaho State Board of Education has adopted a new rule that should
