The public hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Committee Room 112, at which we expect this bill to be killed. Efforts to increase government control over early childhood education are often a precursor to expanding the compulsory school attendance age. HSLDA opposes this bill because of its excessive government interference into the family.
