====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Local GenJ Club Starting--Train Your Teen to be a Leader! Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: Please join me, along with Generation Joshua Director Will Estrada and National Clubs Director Brady Kauk, this week at an informational club kick-off meeting in our area! Parents and students ages 11-19 are invited to attend and explore this exciting opportunity. The vision of GenJ is to assist parents in raising the next generation of Christian leaders and citizens. GenJ Clubs are a primary way students get involved with Generation Joshua. The goal of a GenJ club is to equip teens to positively influence today's political process for a better tomorrow. Clubs provide teens with hands-on civics education in a fun, exciting environment. Clubs are student-led with adult advisory leadership. We will gather to learn about starting a Jefferson County GenJ club at an informational get-together this Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel's Road in Shenandoah Junction (near Charles Town). More than a hundred GenJ clubs nationwide have given thousands of students tremendous civic opportunities. If there is enough interest, your teen could be a part of a GenJ club in this area. We are looking for teens interested in joining a club and adults interested in serving as advisors. For more information on Generation Joshua, visit: http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=14311 I will see you there! Very truly yours, Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
