Register Now for 2012 Summer OR Fall
Constitutional Law Online with Dr. Michael Farris, LLM

"The best thing about [this course] is that no matter where you are
going or what you are planning to be in life, this class applies to
you. It is designed to take ordinary citizens like you and me, inform
them of what the Constitution says and how it applies to life today,
and then put us back into the world ready to take a stand for our
freedoms!" -- Sharleen/Washington

"This class has been the most fun, educational class I have ever
taken! It is a must for anyone considering a career in politics or
law. This class showed me exactly how our government works and the
state of it today." -- Brian/Colorado

"I thought this course might be interesting for [my grandson] ... He
challenged me to take it also! We have both enjoyed [Dr. Farris's
course]. What a way to unite the two generations!" -- Proud
Grandma/New York

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:

These are just a few quotes from students who experienced Dr. Michael
Farris's Constitutional Law Course last semester. Michael Farris is
the chairman of Home School Legal Defense Association, president of
ParentalRights.org, and chancellor of Patrick Henry College.

This year for the first time, Dr. Farris is offering an additional
opportunity to participate in this incredible learning experience! The
first-ever summer course* begins May 21, 2012, and concludes August
28, 2012. Registration is also open for the traditional fall course
which begins September 10, 2012, and concludes February 12, 2013. If
you've always wanted to learn more about the history and background of
our legal system from a biblical perspective, or if you're looking for
a good U.S. government class for your homeschooled students, then this
course is for you!

The syllabus lists the reading and listening assignments for each week
and offers a flexible schedule for homework. Every week or two,
students can participate in a live chat-room discussion--hosted by
Michael Farris--to pose their questions and discuss the material.
Twice during the course, students will submit essay exams for grading.
A certificate of participation will be awarded to all students who
successfully complete the course.

In the 25-part DVD series that goes along with this course, Dr. Farris
walks through the constitutional history and legal theory that are
essential to American self-government. It is perfect for watching as a
family, so even those who aren't specifically enrolled in the class
can learn and benefit from this resource.

With the Constitutional Law Course package, you get this $95 DVD
series for almost half off! Tuition is $300 for HSLDA members and $325
for non-HSLDA members, which includes the required textbook and DVD
set. There are also sibling and family discounts! For more
information, or to register, visit the course website or send your
questions to Rebekah at conlaw@hslda.org.

Registration is limited, so sign up today!

"As the parent of teenagers, I am not the typical student for this
class. But that's the beauty of it and of Dr. Farris's teaching style;
it is for students of all ages." -- Liz/Wyoming

*We need a minimum of 30 students to offer the summer course. If you
register for summer 2012, and we do not meet that registration
threshold, then we will either credit your registration toward any
future semester of your choice, or issue a full refund, according to
your preference.

-> Who are the nation's best lobbyists?

We don't know that this has ever been determined; but we do know
that HSLDA's Federal Relations Department is the only
national organization lobbying on behalf of homeschoolers on
Capitol Hill.
