Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: The Christian Home Educators of Colorado Homeschool Day at the Capitol is less than a month away, and you are invited to attend. Join hundreds of other homeschoolers at the Liberty Celebration and rally on Friday, April 13, with this year's theme: "In the Name of God, Amen--Declarations that Define Us." Homeschoolers will meet in the Gallery of the House Chamber at 8:30 a.m. for an introduction, and then proceed to Pillar of Fire Church for the Liberty Celebration at 9:30, where re-enactors will perform dramatized stories surrounding America's founding documents. The day will also feature a rally on the steps of the Capitol and a citizen lobbyist workshop. By attending this event, you will be showing your support for the homeschooling freedoms Colorado parents and children have enjoyed for more than 20 years.
