====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Generation Joshua's iGovern: A camp to build leadership in teens Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: Parents want their children to grow up to be young men or women who are full of integrity and wisdom and who love God. We want our children to exemplify the godly values of great men and women such as prophets Deborah and Elijah, presidents Washington and Lincoln, evangelists Jonathan Edwards and Amy Carmichael. Generation Joshua's iGovern Summer Leadership Camps are designed to help prepare your teen to be a godly servant leader. This weeklong, interactive program is incredibly exciting and fun, but also provides hands-on education unmatched in any other summer camp. At iGovern, your teen portrays a member of the United States Congress. Our simulation this year focuses on international relations. From the first day of camp, students will be forced to address tough political questions and decide how their faith relates to political decision-making. A presidential election is also underway where your teen can run for office, manage a campaign, or plan a successful fundraising strategy. Winning requires a cogent message and a cohesive team. But the most important element of the iGovern experience is not the political simulation. Through nationally known speakers, daily chapel, and interactions with our staff of committed Christians, your teen will be inspired to live a life passionately committed to God. We invite you to send your teen to one of our iGovern Summer Leadership Camps. All camps are $625 per student.
