In response to the outcry from Mississippi homeschoolers about House Bill 464, we are advised that this bill will not advance in either the House Education Committee or the House Judiciary B Committee. Therefore, there is no need for you to make any further contact with legislators about this bill at this time. Should the unexpected happen and this bill rear its ugly head again, we will let you know. Thank you so much for your quick and effective response to this legislative threat. While we believe that this bill is dead for all practical purposes, it is important that all homeschoolers in Mississippi know about it. So, if you know other homeschoolers who may not have gotten information about it, please let them know what has happened.
