====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== SB 245 Update--Comprehensive Health Education Dear HSLDA Members and Friends, The Vermont Senate will soon vote on a bill designed to add curriculum requirements for Vermont public high school students. Our legislative contact, Retta Dunlap, has told us that although Senate Bill 245 initially made changes to Section 906 of the education code, which would have affected home study students, now the bill only changes the comprehensive health education law that affects public high school students. We understand that there may be some confusion about this since the change took place between the second and third reading of the bill in the Vermont Senate. We wanted to make sure that our members and friends have the latest information. Therefore we are not requesting that you take any action at this time.
