4. High School Teacher Training Sessions--Save the Date!

Would you like help preparing to teach high school at home? Or, if
you are in the midst of the high school years, would you like
reassurance you are on the right track? Plan now to join Becky Cooke
and Diane Kummer, HSLDA's high school consultants, as they present
seminars on all aspects of teaching your teens at home. All sessions
will be held at HSLDA in Purcellville, VA.

planning and testing) will be presented March 23 and October 12, 2012.

to encourage local families in the Bible Bee's sustainable pattern of

6. Special Needs Children Fund Open for Enrollment

February is the enrollment period for the Home School Foundation's
Special Needs Children Fund. This fund is for HSLDA member families
and can only be applied to every 24 months. If you are an HSLDA family

7. Call for Parent to Parent Submissions

Have you ever had an inspiring thought, an ingenious shortcut, or a
special memory that you wished you could share with other
homeschoolers? Well, now you can! The "Home School Court Report's"
Parent to Parent column provides opportunities for homeschooling
parents to share their thoughts by providing a topic for discussion.

Our next topic is teamwork: Cooperation, unity, and teamwork are
important traits for homeschooling families. How do you foster a team
spirit with your family? We'd love to hear your ideas! Send us your
story. Mail 150-word submissions (may be edited for space) to:
