facing charges of truancy and failure to appear in court. Home School
Legal Defense Association helped get the charges dismissed.

3. Tennessee: Family Flees Bully, Faces Legal Threat

A family who began homeschooling because of bullying was subsequently
threatened with truancy charges. HSLDA helped resolve the situation by
