Dear HSLDA Members and Friends in Covington: Based on the latest information, we believe it will be unnecessary for a large group of homeschool families to come to the Covington City Commission meeting tonight at 6 p.m. Instead, it appears the October 18 meeting is the one we need to ask you to attend. We will keep you posted as things progress. Due to the fact that the Covington mayor will be resigning, and the latest agenda does not include anything on the daytime curfew, you do not need to attend the meeting tonight. However, if you live in Covington and want to stop by, there will be a small core of homeschoolers who intend on sitting in on the meeting.
