====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== Kentucky: Daytime Curfew Tabled Dear HSLDA Members and Friends in Covington: We were informed this afternoon that the Covington City Commission did not pass the daytime curfew changes to the current ordinance last night. In fact, the daytime curfew didn't even come up! One of our members who was present at the meeting was told by a city official that the commission had received so many "emails, calls, and concerns" that they had decided to table the issue for the foreseeable future. While this is not a complete victory, it is encouraging to see that the commission responded when local citizens brought up concerns about this issue. With your help, we will continue to monitor this situation and fight for the freedom of homeschoolers in Kentucky. Thomas J.
