====================================================================== From the HSLDA E-lert Service... ====================================================================== HSLDA High School Symposium--September 19, 2011 Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: The Homeschooling Thru High School Symposium is coming to Naples! This event will be held at Center Point Community Church on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. There will be two afternoon sessions, a dinner break, and two evening sessions. The fee for the event is $10 per person, $15 per family. Pre-registration is required. Please register online at CHEACC's website (http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=12029). Payment is to be made to CHEACC and mailed to: Quentin & Nora Silic, 6162 Seagrass Lane, Naples, FL 34116, or payment will also be received at the door the day of the event. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Becky Cooke, one of HSLDA's high school consultants, will be speaking on the following topics: > "Developing a Plan for High School: Sample 4-Year Plans" > "High School Transcript Clinic with Recordkeeping Tips" > "Homeschooled Student's Guide to College Admission" > "Preparing Your Teen for Life" Take advantage of HSLDA's special conference discounts! Join or renew your membership for one year: Receive a $10 coupon to use toward your membership (at the conference only) or for purchasing our materials.
