Freedom Wins in Minnesota!

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

Have you heard about the new homeschool law? Do you want to find out
about what has changed, and how these changes extend your freedom to
homeschool? If you homeschool your children in Minnesota, you won't
want to miss this free online program set for Wednesday, August 3, at
1:00 p.m. (CDT). Space is limited, so register now for your seat at
the live program. Can't make the live program? No problem - we'll
record it and you can watch later at your convenience, but you need to
register now.

HSLDA Staff Attorney Mike Donnelly and MACHE Legislative Liaison John
Tuma will lead an informative one-hour online presentation on the
recent legislative victory for homeschoolers. They will provide you
with an analysis of the new law and explain how it impacts you. Both
John and I were involved in the drafting and ongoing efforts to
shepherd this legislation through, so you'll be able to get a behind
the scenes look at this tremendous success story!

This free @home e-vent is only available to those who register.
Attendees at the live program will be able to interact live with Mike
and John, so bring your questions. Register now at
http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=11922 and then log on and learn next
week for useful and practical advice.

If you have any questions, please contact the @home e-vent coordinator
at webinars@hslda.org.

We hope you can join us next Wednesday afternoon, August 3, at 1:00
(CDT)!

At your service,

Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
Your HSLDA Staff Attorney

-> Extreme makeovers are for extreme circumstances...

Most homeschools don't need an extreme makeover, but there is
something to be said for attention to detail and recognition of
accomplishments. Watch the media and you'll soon see that not
everyone wants home educators and homeschooling to look good.
HSLDA works hard to shed light on the good work of home educators
so it's obvious that we don't need someone "making-over" our
homeschools. Join HSLDA and help us show the world that we're fine
as we are . . . thank you!
