North Carolina: DNPE Publishes New Policy The North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education has implemented several new policies affecting homeschoolers. Home School Foundation: Help for Children of Single Parents July is the summer enrollment period for the Children of Single Parents Fund. This fund assists children of single parents who, through no fault of their own, experience financial hardship during their homeschooling years. Grants are based on a highly selective review process, financial need, and the availability of funds.
