These cards brighten the holidays for widows and their families across the country. Submission deadline is August 1. Entrants must be homeschool teachers or students ages 15 and up. One woman just wrote us: "As a widow, I noticed a drop in the amount of Christmas cards that were delivered to our house that first Christmas alone. When you lose your spouse, you also lose contact with a group of people that were friends of your husband. Celebrating a holiday without Dad is difficult, but receiving Christmas cards helps to brighten the house and it helps knowing that others are thinking of you. Thank you for making HSF's Christmas cards special." For more details: http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=11625 ..................................................................... 9.
