1. Indiana: Right to Reasonably Resist Unlawful Police Entry Struck
Down

The Indiana Supreme Court recently ruled that an individual has no
right to reasonably resist by force the unlawful entry of police. This
means it is all the more important for members to contact us should
they have contact from authorities about their home or educational
program.

2. Ohio: School District Targets Homeschooled Students for Money

Home School Legal Defense Association encourages members to consider
the consequences before enrolling their students in public education
programs such as the one being considered in Ohio.

3. Montana: Three Bad Bills Defeated

During the 2011 session of the Montana Legislature, HSLDA worked
closely with the Montana Coalition of Home Educators to bring about
the defeat of three bills that threatened the freedom of

6. Help Families Hurt in the Storms

The Home School Foundation http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=11303 is
seeking to minister to homeschool families who have experienced a loss
of their homes, livelihood or curriculum due to the recent storms,
tornadoes, and flooding across the country.

Through the Compassion Emergency Response

program, the Foundation helps homeschool families who have been
impacted by a natural disaster. If you know of a homeschooling family
who has been seriously affected by the recent storms, please have them
contact the Home School Foundation. If you would like to help other
