7. iGovern: Education During Summer Fun

Generation Joshua is proud of the high-caliber teaching we provide at
our iGovern Summer Leadership camps. To help students gain more from
camp we have created three classes. The first is Legislative
Techniques, where students will learn how congressmen write and debate
legislation. The second, Party Leadership, deals with the American
party system and how to make a difference in our culture starting in
our political parties. The final course is Campaigns and Elections,
which teaches students the fine points of the electoral process and

Have you ever had an inspiring thought, an ingenious shortcut, or an
"Aha! moment" that you wished you could share with other
homeschoolers? Well, now you can! "The Home School Court Report's"
Parent to Parent column provides opportunities for homeschooling
parents to relay teaching tips, encouragement and advice. Our topic
for the July/August 2011 issue is "A Homeschool Snapshot." One day you
will look back on your homeschool days and recall a precious time,
event, or moment. What is your best homeschooling memory so far? Send
us your story in 150 words. Submissions may be edited for space.
