Dear HSLDA Members and Friends: The annual Loving Education at Home Conference will be coming to your area in only four weeks! Have you registered yet? It's not too late--why not sign up today? http://www.hslda.org/elink.asp?id=11104 The Upstate Conference will be hosted by LEAH at Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604, June 2-4. You'll hear popular speakers such as HSLDA's High School Consultant Becky Cooke, Tracy Klicka, Gregg Harris, Dr. Henry Morris III, and Kathy Kuhl. You can browse over 80 vendors in the exhibit hall, and HSLDA will be there with special offers for new and renewing members! The conference will offer Generation Joshua's teen track iElect, an energetic program simulating a presidential election. Participants will be assigned to a mock political party, design their party platform, elect a candidate from their party, and raise GenJ money to buy campaign materials and advertisements. Parents and other conference attendees will be involved by registering to vote, by donating play money, and by voting for their favorite candidate. Registration is open at a rate for LEAH members of $50 per couple (with children 10 and under) or $75 per family (with children 11 and older).
