7. Home School Foundation: Tracy Klicka Joins the Team

Elizabeth Smith, director of development, has felt led to focus her
gifts and talents in other worthy ventures, and Tracy Klicka will be
taking her place at the Foundation. Elizabeth has been with the
Foundation for over six years--sharing her grace, love, and expertise
with our donors, friends, and staff, and she will be missed.

Tracy not only brings many years of experience as an organizer,
homeschooling mom, speaker and writer, she also shares a common bond
with many of the families the Foundation serves--that of being a
widow. Her husband, Chris Klicka, was senior counsel for HSLDA and for
more than 24 years worked side-by-side with HSLDA staff serving
homeschoolers nationwide.

following link and cast your vote! The production crew that created
the video which garners the most votes will receive $1,000!

10. Homeschooled Legislators--Know Any?

HSLDA is conducting a survey on the impact of homeschooling on
politics at the state level. We are seeking information regarding the
number of state legislators who are homeschooled. Ultimately we'd
like to send them a short survey. First we have to find them. If you
know a state legislator, please take 10 seconds to click the link
below and provide just four pieces of information to help us take the
next step. Thank you for your help!
